Will the color of my surface change after application?
: No, Biopox anti-slip offers clear coating finish which does not affect the appearnace of the surface.
What's the difference between PU6000 and FG800?
: PU6000 is suitable for areas that experiences barefoot traffic such as the bathroom, shower room and poolside area.
: FG800 is suitable for areas that experiences shoe traffic such as outdoor walkways and stairways.
What is the Drying time?
: 6 hrs, walkable in standard room temperature and conditions.
: 12 hrs, can be exposed to water in standard room temperature and conditions.
Tips: Ventilate the area properly to ensure a fast and full cure of the coating. For areas with high humidity allow for extra drying time before opening for usage.
Does the product contain pungent odor?
: The product contains very minimal of pungent chemicals. The smell is designed to be pleasant for users. Unlike 2K system where the smell can be extremely pungent and nauseating.
Will the clear sand texture hurt my feet?
: PU6000 is designed to be comfortable for barefoot contact using appropriate fineness of clear sand.
: FG800 is designed for areas with shoe traffic, it is not recommend to use this product in areas with barefoot contact.
Can the product be applied on other surfaces apart from ceramic tiles?
: Biopox is designed and tested on ceramic tiles standards and procedures. Although the product can adhere to many substrate it is recommended for users to conduct a small field test before application on larger scale.
What is the life-time of Biopox anti-slip clear coating?
: Biopox coating can last between 6-12 months according to its usage and traffic. For areas that expreiences higher traffic and frequent brushing the coating can deteriorate earlier.
Can the product be used to waterproof instead of grouting?
: Although Biopox contains waterproofing property it is recommended to grout the tiles properly before coating Biopox anti-slip as the product is not designed to replace traditional grouting.
Can I use regular cleaning products after applying Biopox?
: Do not use regular cleaning product that contains high acidic ingredients. It is recommended to use mild cleaning products that does not damage the surface. High acidic cleaning products are not only dangerous for the home users but is also not a requirement for a clean bathroom floor.
Am I allowed to do heavy skidding activities to the surface after application?
: Avoid using sharp and heavy objects to skid on the surface as it could damage the clear coating causing peels in some cases.
Will the surface be sticky after coating?
: After full cure, the surface will not be sticky to touch. Please remember to wash the surface once before usage.
Is the product harmful to animals?
:After curing, the product is safe to both humans and animals. The product has been tested according to United states FDA Section 21 standards.
